Universal-Gifts' Online Star Register (hosted at Register.Star.Name) was launched in 2001. All new star names purchased on our site are listed on this register within days of your gift pack being issued. If you would like to know more about naming a star, details are provided further down this page!
The information contained in the register is limited, to protect individual's privacy, to the following:
- Star name chosen
- Star catalogue reference
- The star's stellar coordinates
- The constellation
- The occasion detail ie Wedding / Birthday
The register can be searched by constellation or your Star Catalogue Reference. The Star Catalogue Reference is printed on the Gift Certificate and the detailed star chart. If you prefer your chosen star name NOT to appear please contact us using the 'Contact Universal-Gifts' link above.
